OGResearch (OGR, http://ogresearch.com/) is a Prague-based consultancy specialized in macroeconomic modelling and forecasting. Models, software and forecasting systems developed by OGR support the pricing of financial instruments and policy making in many national and international institutions worldwide. The company works on developed, emerging, as well as developing economies.
OGR combines knowledge on policy making and technological know-how to produce tailor-made products in a user-friendly environment. The company develops specialized forecasting and modeling software which is used both by professional forecasters and by academic researchers. Experts at OGR regularly consult central banks, the EBRD and other institutions on forecasting systems, policy making and regime transitions.
OGR has offices in Prague, Brno, Budapest and Belgrade, and is seeking analysts and model operators to join the team in any of the cities above.
- Regularly analyze and monitor selected countries in OGR’s portfolio
- Prepare background studies on OGR research projects
- Communicate with clients
- Technical support for the regular forecasting rounds
- Maintenance and development of technical tools
- Support in technical assistance missions to central banks and policy institutions in developing countries
- Master degree in Economics, Finance or Mathematics
- Good understanding of macroeconomics
- Proficiency in written and oral English
- Excellent communication skills (Analyst)
- Proficiency in quantitative methods and programming (Model Operator)

We are seeking candidates for a long-term role.The appointment includes a three-month probation period and should start as soon as possible.
