OGR Managing Partner David Vavra and OGR Economist Victoria Petrenko presented their paper, "Inflation-Linked Bonds Are Not a Good Instrument for Financing Government Debt in Emerging and Developing Economies: A View from Risk-Return Analysis," co-authored by Ruurd Brouwer, CEO of TCX Investment Management, at the 3rd Public Debt Management Conference. The event was organized by the Public Debt Management Network (OECD, Italian Treasury, and World Bank) in Washington, DC, on October 3-4, 2024, and focused on addressing sustainability, disaster, and climate-related issues in public debt management.
