In January, OGR consultant Csaba Köber supported the Bank of Tanzania in enhancing their modeling and forecasting capacities as part of a workshop organized and financed by the Macroeconomic & Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa (MEFMI). The workshop covered introduction to Dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) modeling, and contained one week onsite training in Zanzibar, and one week remote training. We believe that the participants' active participation, and prompt responsiveness contributed to a productive and rewarding training experience.
